Gunshot pierces family’s wall in Rogers, man cited

A 30-year-old male was cited for accidentally discharging a rifle and sending a bullet through his neighbor’s wall in Rogers Friday, March 3.

Officers were dispatched to an unintentional discharge of a firearm in the 13700 block of Rose Drive. The caller, who lives in a townhome, stated that a round came through a common wall and struck the television in her living room. There were four people in the living room at the time.

Three of them were young children. The neighbor in the adjacent unit stated he pointed his AR style rifle at a mirror and pulled the trigger on what he thought was an empty chamber. Photographs of the damage were taken. Nobody was injured.

Cited was Ryan Lamusga, 30.
