Learn how to become an election judge in Maple Grove

Maple Grove election judges are responsible for administering election procedures in each polling place on Election Day. Serving as an election judge is an opportunity to serve the Maple Grove community and to be involved in the election process.

Additionally, the need exists to establish a new generation of poll workers to offset those who have served for years and are retiring their positions.

This election year, Minnesota voters will head to the polls to decide a U.S. Senate seat, all U.S. House seats, as well as governor and other state constitutional officers, and all Minnesota House seats. Also, there will be city offices on the General Election ballot including the mayor and two city council seats.

• People must be eligible to vote in Minnesota

• People must be able read, write and speak English

• People cannot be a spouse, parent, child or sibling of any election judge serving in the same precinct or of any candidate at that election
