CROSS Services depends on volunteers to help stock the food shelf, welcome families as they arrive, deliver meals, data entry, and much much more.
CROSS appreciates several hundred regular volunteers that assist with the daily operations. Volunteers come from an array of backgrounds; retired individuals who were electricians, IT programmers, butcher, engineers, house wife’s and cooks. Individuals that hold full-time jobs as well as individuals that own their own business.
The majority of volunteers reside in Champlin, Corcoran, Dayton, Maple Grove, Osseo, or Rogers which are the areas CROSS serves. Yet, several reside outside this area.
Why volunteer at CROSS? The overwhelming response from the current volunteers was ‘Fellowship’ and they came to socialization with a purpose. How do they find out about the volunteer opportunities at CROSS: Some responded their faith community and others were referred by a friend or family member.
CROSS is always looking for more volunteers. If anyone is available a few hours every week, once a month, or once in awhile give CROSS a call 763-425-1050 and they will put volunteers to work.
CROSS Services located in Rogers, has been operating for nearly four decades. Several hundred families each month make use of services provided by CROSS, which is supported by volunteers and donations from business churches, schools, and other organization in the community.
