The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from Jan. 28, 2014, though Feb. 6, 2014.
Osseo Police assisted the United States Immigration Deportation Office on Jan. 30 arresting a 31-year-old male on the 8700 block of Jefferson Hwy. The male was taken into custody without incident and released to the Federal Agents.
A 17-year-old male was arrested for a Hennepin County warrant on Jan. 31 on the 100 block of Central Avenue after Osseo Police were called to several unwanted persons loitering at a business. The male was transported to the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center. The other parties involved were advised to leave.
A 30-year-old Maple Grove man was arrested on Feb. 1 for driving without a valid license and no insurance on his car after Osseo Police stopped him on County Road 81 for a traffic violation. He was released with a citation and his car was impounded.
A 33-year-old Shakopee man was arrested on Feb. 1 for DWI after Osseo Police stopped his car for weaving. The man was booked at the Hennepin County Jail in Minneapolis and his vehicle was impounded.
A 32-year-old Osseo man was arrested on Feb. 2 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive for an Anoka County Warrant. He was transported to the Anoka County Jail for booking.
A 17-year-old male was arrested by Osseo Police on Feb. 3 for possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana at the Osseo High School. He was released to school staff and the case has been forwarded to the Hennepin County Juvenile Court.
Osseo Police responded to an assault on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. on Jan. 28th. Osseo Police were able to mediate the situation and no charges were filed.
Osseo Police responded to a theft report at the Osseo High School on Jan. 30. Cash and credit cards were reported stolen from a woman’s purse. There are no suspects.
Osseo Police responded to a noise disturbance on the 600 block of Second Street S.E. on Jan. 30. Police were able to mediate the situation and no further action was taken.
Osseo Police responded to a 21-year-old male with a bloody nose that would not stop on Feb. 2 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. Officers learned the nose bleed was caused from an assault that occurred in Brooklyn Park earlier. The case is under investigation by Brooklyn Park Police.
Osseo Police responded to an 88-year-old male that had fallen and had back pain on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. on Feb. 3. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.
Osseo Police responded to a 19-year-old female having a seizure at the Osseo Senior High School on Feb. 5. The patient was examined at by paramedics.
A two-car property damage accident occurred on Feb. 1 on the 100 block of Central Avenue. Both drivers exchanged information and a state accident report was filed.
