Welcoming 2014’s 1st bundle of joy

The first baby born in 2014 at Maple Grove Hospital happened the morning of Jan. 1.

Emmalyn Violet Northrop-Willemssen is the first baby born at Maple Grove Hospital in 2014. She was born Jan. 1, 2014, at 8:20 a.m. to parents Katie and Mike Northrop-Willemssen of Otsego. Also pictured are Dr. Michelle Mirau and nurse Kelly Wilson.

Emmalyn Violet Northrop-Willemssen was born Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at 8:20 a.m. She was 9 pounds and 4 ounces and 21 inches long. She was born to parents Katie and Mike Northrop-Willemssen of Otsego.

The physician during the delivery was Dr. Michelle Mirau (Park Nicollet). Nurse was Kelly Wilson.
