Items are selected from reports made to the Corcoran Police Department and are not intended to provide a comprehensive picture of all services provided by the Corcoran Police Department. The following incidents occurred the week of Monday Dec. 2 through Monday, Dec. 9.
Corcoran Police reported a DAS arrest Friday, December 6 at 9:10 p.m. at County Rd. 101 and Hackamore Rd. Arrested was Octavio Enrique Gonzalez-Perez, 29, of Corcoran for driving after suspension of his driver’s license, driving without a valid driver’s license and for no proof of insurance.
Property Damage Accident/Incident
The department reported a property damage incident Saturday, December 7 at 10:06 p.m. in the area of 97XX County Rd. 101. The reporting party stated a patron of the business had been asked to leave and refused to. The employee escorted the person outside the business and when the person attempted to get back into the business the employee held the door shut. The person then hit the glass door and it shattered. The person then left the area. Officers were able to locate the suspect and cited them for disorderly conduct and damage to property.
Theft of a boat was reported Monday, Dec. 2 at 2:27 p.m. in the area of County Rd. 50 and Rolling Hills Rd. The reporting party stated they were storing a boat at their Uncle’s property and when they went to the property on Nov. 30, the boat was missing. Last time the boat was seen was in May, 2013. Total loss is estimated at $500. There are no identifiable suspect(s) at this time.
