Osseo Schools cancels activities; Osseo declares snow emergency

The snowstorm Wednesday, Dec. 4, has forced schools and cities to cancel evening plans and declare snow emergencies.

Osseo Area Schools has released the following statement: “Due to continuing snowfall and road conditions, all after-school and evening activities are cancelled for Osseo Public Schools – ISD 279 TODAY. The regular school day is continuing as usual at all District 279 schools and schools will dismiss at their regular time. We anticipate that many buses will run late this afternoon, so your student may arrive home later than usual. Please plan on all activities resuming tomorrow as scheduled at this time.”
