Nov. 13, 3:07 p.m. Reported black-and-white cows were walking across a field, near the 5700 block of County Road 11, not inside their enclosed pasture and caller was concerned they would get out onto County Road 11 and be struck by a vehicle. Animal owner arrived and put them back in.
Nov. 11, 7:16 p.m. Grass fire in area of Highway 12 and County Road 92. Maple Plain Fire Department extinguished the fire.
Nov. 11, 12:12 p.m. Victim, at 7000 Egret Drive, found Internet theft from his checking account. Approximate loss over $1,300.
Nov. 10, 9:38 p.m. Assisted a victim who broke his hand by punching a wall in 3600 block of Ihduhapi Trail.
Nov. 5, 6:13 p.m. Complaint said a Dodge truck with a plow on the front was traveling eastbound on County Road 6 from Copeland Road at a slow rate of speed. It was driving on the wrong side of the road — causing others to go into the ditch. The vehicle was located. Driver said he was having a hard time seeing the road as the plow lights were not hitting the road well and it was hard to see because it was snowing heavily.
Nov. 3, 12:17 a.m. Driver at Highway 12, Valley Road was flashing his vehicle beams at the squad car. The driver said his passenger was having a medical problem. The passenger stated he was feeling weak, possibly borderline diabetic. The driver stated the passenger had been smoking marijuana earlier in the day, but that was the only drug the driver knew he was on. North Memorial Ambulance paramedics transported the passenger to the hospital to get checked out. The driver of the vehicle was advised to pull over to the side of the road and call 911 rather than drive down the road flashing the vehicle lights.
Nov. 2, 11:42 a.m. Mailbox was knocked off wooden post and dented in 4400 block of Lake Sarah Drive South.
Nov. 2, 10:33 a.m. Some time overnight someone threw a pumpkin at a mailbox in 4200 block of Lake Sarah Drive South. Minor damage to mailbox.
Nov. 1, 12:18 p.m. Resident in the 10 block of Copeland Road reported he has been receiving electronics in the mail that he has not ordered from different companies in China. The information was submitted to the postal inspector.
Nov. 12, 8:17 p.m. Reported a vehicle was being driven at a high rate of speed, lights off and the driver was honking the horn loudly and steadily near 1400 Rainbow Avenue.
Nov. 5, 5:06 p.m. Complaint of loud music coming from garage in 1600 block of Marsh Avenue. Homeowner said he was just trying to enjoy the music but would discontinue.
Nov. 1, 9:25 p.m. A vehicle was struck in 5200 block of Bryantwood Drive. The vehicle had damage to the front bumper and the front passenger headlight was broken out. Approximate damage was less than $1,000.
Nov. 1, 8:26 a.m. Reported a ’90s vintage Yamaha DT 175 Enduro-type motorcycle was stolen from 5800 block of Highway 12. Vehicle tracks indicated that someone pushed the motorcycle across the railroad tracks and loaded it onto a trailer or into a pickup truck.
From Nov. 1-15, WHPS had 347 police contacts, including 120 traffic stops resulting in 39 citations, 78 verbal warnings and three written warnings.
