NOV. 14 — Corcoran City Council will meet will next meet Thursday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. at city hall at 8200 County Rd. 116.

Phantom of the Opera

NOV. 14-17 — The BHS Theatre Arts and Music departments are proud to present the musical The Phantom of the Opera. Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 14-16, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes before the performance. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Tickets are available at Gartner’s Hallmark, the Buffalo High School Activities Office (beginning on Oct. 28), and at the door before each performance.

BHS theater fundraiser

NOV. 16 — A pancake breakfast fundraiser for the Buffalo High School Theatre Department is Saturday, Nov. 16, 8 to 10 a.m. at the River Inn in Hanover, 11220 River Road.

Menu of pancakes, sausage, eggs and beverage (coffee, milk juice or soda) cost of $8. Proceeds benefit the BHS Theatre Department. Purchase tickets at the door or to pre-purchase tickets contact Vonnie Waters 763-245-9586.

Healthy Day of Play

NOV. 16 — Family Youth Community Connections (FYCC), HealthSource, inFIT/Anytime Fitness and STMA Community Education invite all to a Healthy Day of Play Saturday, Nov. 16, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the STMA Activity Center, 5800 Jamison Ave., St. Michael. Bring the whole family and be ready to have some fun. The first 100 families to participate get a free turkey. Featuring games, raffles, fun giveaways and nutritious snacks. Poultry social 

NOV. 22 — The Hanover Fire Department wishes to invite everyone to the annual Poultry Social Friday, Nov. 22 (corrected from Nov. 15), at 7 p.m. at Hanover City Hall. Come for food, fun and BINGO. Proceeds to the Hanover Fire Relief Association.

KC Lumberjack Breakfast

NOV. 17 – “It’s the famous KC Lumberjack Breakfast … you better be hungry!” is Sunday, Nov. 17, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Mary Queen of Peace Church Hall, St. Martin Campus (Downtown Rogers). Menu includes pancakes, French toast, hash browns, sausage and eggs, orange juice, milk and coffee. Free will offering, proceeds benefit church, school and community. Sponsored, cooked and served by the Northwest-Hennepin Knights of Columbus Council #11941.

Fall Craft Show

NOV. 23 — St. Michael-Albertville Women of Today Fall Craft Show is Saturday, Nov. 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Michael-Albertville Middle School West, 11343 – 50th Street NE, Albertville, MN 55301. Overflow parking/shuttle from Primary School. New and returning crafters. Concessions available. Drop off location for Caring for Kids, Your local toy drive.  Please donate NEW unwrapped toys, hats/mittens, and books for children birth to age 18. Monetary donations also accepted. Options for Women

NOV. 24 — A special invitation is extended to the public to attend the Grand Opening of Options for Women/Cornerstone Sunday, Nov. 24. The ribbon cutting will be at 1 p.m. with a cake reception to follow. Festivities will also include an open house with tours of the center from 1 to 5 p.m. Cornerstone is located at 204 Central Avenue East, St. Michael. Options for Women/Cornerstone is a non-profit life affirming organization serving clients facing the challenges of an unplanned pregnancy. With respect and friendship, we provide free pregnancy testing, limited obstetrical ultrasound exams, lay counseling, outreach, and material assistance. Lions breakfast

DEC. 1 — Crow River Lions of Hanover are having a Stuffed Hashbrown Breakfast Sunday, Dec. 1, from 8 a.m. to noon at Hanover City Hall. Breakfast includes hashbrowns stuffed with your choice of ham, bacon, cheese, onions and mushrooms.  Also included is scrambled eggs, muffins, juice, coffee and milk. Cost is $7 per adult, $5 per child or Family for $20. Proceeds are donated to area charities.

Holiday boutique

DEC. 7 — Rogers MOPS presents a holiday craft and vendor boutique Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rogers Community Room, 21201 Memorial Drive, Rogers.

Featuring vendor and craft booths from 330 area Mom-Run businesses. Bring a non-perishable item to donate the CROSS Food Shelf. Earn one door prize entry for each item donated.
