Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the City of Osseo from Oct. 18, through 31.

Arrests

A 26 year old Minneapolis man was arrested on a traffic stop on Oct. 18th for a Felony warrant from Rice County. His vehicle was impounded and he was booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

A 22 year old Osseo man was arrested on Oct. 20th for 5th degree domestic assault after police responded to a report of assault that took place on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. The suspect was booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

While Osseo Officers were working a high visibility DWI enforcement detail Osseo Police arrested a 23 year old female from Brooklyn Park for 4th degree DWI, a 35 year old Minneapolis man for 4th degree DWI and test refusal, and a 43 year old Hopkins man for 4th degree DWI, driving after cancelation, and a felony warrant. All parties were booked at jail and had their cars impounded.

Osseo Police arrested a 38 year old Dayton woman on County 81 for driving after revocation on Oct. 28. She was released with from the scene with a citation.

Incidents

Osseo Police responded to a hold up alarm at a business on the 200 block of 2nd Ave SE on Oct. 18th. The alarm turned out to be false.

Osseo Police responded to an unsecured door to a closed business on Oct. 19 on the 300 block of 1st Ave NE. No problems were found inside. A key holder was notified to secure the business.

Osseo Police responded to a burglary alarm at a business on Oct. 20 on the 300 block of Central Ave. No problems were found.

A vandalism complaint was reported to Osseo Police on Oct. 21 on the 100 block of Central Ave. The case is under investigation.

A theft of small change was reported to Osseo Police on Oct. 21 on the 500 block of 2nd Street SE. There are no suspects.

A theft of a sign from a business was reported to Osseo Police on Oct. 23 on the 50 block of 3rd Ave NE. There are no suspects.

A bicycle was reported stolen on Oct. 25 on the 100 block of 3rd Ave SE. There are no s suspects.

Osseo Police responded to a juvenile disturbance on Oct. 26 on the 50 block of 5th Ave NE. The juvenile was detained and released to a parent.

A theft of an electronic tablet was reported to Osseo Police on Oct. 29 from a business on the 200 block of Central Ave. There are no suspects. The serial number has been entered into a nationwide database and the case has been forwarded to the Hennepin County Detectives.

A dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend was reported to Osseo Police on Oct. 30 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. Police were able to mediate a resolution.

Damage to property to a business was reported to Osseo Police on Oct. 30 on the 200 block of Central Ave. A glass door was broken. There are no suspects.

Osseo Police responded to a welfare check on Oct. 30 on the 500 block of 1st Ave NE.

Medicals

Osseo Police responded to a 63 year old male with severe abdominal pain on the 50 block of 6th Street NE. He was transported to the Maple Grove Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 63 year old female that fell and hit her head on Oct. 18 on the 500 block of 2nd Street SE. She was transported to the Maple Grove Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 92 year old female feeling ill on Oct. 18 on the 600 block of Central Ave. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 77 year old female having a seizure on Oct. 26 on the 50 block of 6th Street NE. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 75 year old female that had fallen in a parking lot at a business on Oct. 28 on the 300 block of Central Ave. She was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 77 year old female feeling ill on the 50 block of 6th Street NE. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 95 year old female that had fallen on the 50 block of 6th “Street NE on Oct. 30. She was transported to the Maple Grove Hospital by North Ambulance.

Accidents

Osseo Police responded to a property damage hit and run of a parked car on Oct. 29 on the 8800 block of Jefferson Hwy. The accident is under investigation.

Osseo Police responded to a 2 car personal injury accident on Oct. 31 at County 81 & 3rd Street SE. A 65 year old driver from Brooklyn Center vehicle was transported to the VA Medical Center with non life threatening injuries. A state accident was completed.
