Barbara Jablonski

age 75 of Maple Grove was called home to the Lord on October 22, 2013. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years; Bernard, mother Ethel and sister Gloria.
She will be sadly missed by daughter, Beth (Steve) Rudolph and son Brent (Anna) Jablonski. 7 Grandchildren: Brandon, Joshua, Jacob, Alayna, Emily, Aaron and Grace and 1 Great Grandchild; Daniel. Also survived by sister; Helen Nelson and Brothers; Roger Griffin and Gordon (Shirley) Griffin, many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and her furry friend Violet.
Born to her Dear Mother, Ethel Griffin, she was the youngest of 5 children. She graduated from North High School in Mpls where she made lifelong friends with her Mes Amis. In 1961 she married her true love, Bernard and later gave birth to 2 children Beth and Brent. Barbara devoted her life to being a wonderful and loving Mother, Grandmother and wife. She loved knitting, crocheting, sewing and crafting possessing a talent beyond compare. Barbara found enjoyment in reading books and making things for others. She loved children, and had a fantastic sense of humor. Barbara worked for the Hennepin County Library for over 25 years, retiring in 2005. She spent her retirement years traveling and spending time with family and friends.
A celebration of Barbaras life was held at Advent Lutheran Church 9475 Jefferson Highway, Maple Grove on Tuesday, October 29th.
