“We expect to have a good year,” Crimson coach Dan Haertl said. “All of our top players are seniors. First singles Jillian Klasen, second singles Anna Ehrsmann, captains first doubles Celina Berndt and Jessica Barry; and second doubles Marissa Berghuis are all seniors. When that happens, it should mean a good year.”

Other Crimson in the varsity lineup are Rachel Ellingson at third singles, Zoe Lim at fourth singles, Holly Brown, Sam Welch and Kayla Barry in doubles.

Maple Grove started off the year slowly, but has garnered good results in the last few matches.

The Crimson opened the season with losses to Centennial and Forest Lake but have won five of the last seven matches. They beat St Louis Park 5-2, lost to Andover 1-6, beat Blaine 6-1, lost to Elk River 2-5, fell to Blake 0-7 and swept Osseo and Park Center 7-0.
