Crimson getting ready for Homecoming events

Homecoming week will be celebrated at Maple Grove Senior High School Monday, Sept. 23 through Saturday, Sept. 28. The 2013 Homecoming Royalty candidates will be featured in next week’s paper. The Homecoming themes for the week are: Monday is Jersey Day, Tuesday is Camo Day, Wednesday is 80s Day, Thursday is America Day (Dress Patriotic) and Friday is Spirit Day. All clothing must be school appropriate and hats are not allowed.

The Homecoming Royalty Parade will take place Wednesday morning, Sept. 25 during Foundations. There will also be a Homecoming All-School BBQ during lunch on Wednesday.

There will be a Homecoming Bonfire is set for Thursday, Sept. 26, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Activities during the bonfire include a car smash, climbing wall, chin up bar, music and much more. There will also be free food and lots of free prize drawings. No money required.

The MGSH Homecoming Coronation and Pepfest will be Friday, Sept. 27, at 1:10 p.m. in the school’s gym. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

The week concludes with the Homecoming Semi-Formal Dance Saturday, Sept. 28, from 8 to 11 p.m. in the cafeteria. Tickets will be sold the week of Sept. 23. Tickets will be $7 per person. Students must bring identification. Guest approval forms will be available the Lobby desk.
