After losing the first two matches of the season, the Delano tennis team has won six straight matches, four last week alone.
The Tigers defeated Andover 5-2, SPA 6-1, Glencoe-Silver Lake 6-1 and Eden Prairie 4-3.
Against Andover, Delano won all three doubles matches and two at singles. Katie Schleif won at second singles and Kitty Bonine won at third singles.
Winning at doubles was Cassy Finn and Tayler Hedtke, Alex Schreyer and Jackie Damberg and Hayley Griffiths and Hailey Hunter.
The same doubles teams won matches against SPA, while Schleif, Bonine and Anna Schleper won singles matches.
In the shutout over GSL, Ginger Valentine won at first singles. The rest of the lineup also won, with Natalie Pupp working with Griffiths at third doubles.
Against section rival Eden Prairie, the three doubles teams finished on top, with the match decided by Schleper winning at No. 4 singles. Valentine had to default due to illness.
The win streak is impressive considering Delano graduated eight of the top players from the team that went 15-1 last year.
