Arrests

Corcoran Police reported a domestic arrest Monday, Sept. 2 at 12:41 p.m. at 78XX Maple Hill Rd. Arrested was Harry Damrong Navongsay, 20, of Corcoran for domestic assault.

Corcoran Police reported a DAR arrest Monday, Sept. 2 at 7:22 p.m. at County Rd. 30 and County Rd. 116. Arrested was Kristin Lynn Moline, 45, of Shakopee for driving after revocation of her driver’s license.

Corcoran Police reported a DAR arrest Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 3:10 p.m. at County Rd. 116 and 75th Ave. N. Arrested was Nickolas Lloyd Hendrickson, 18, of Elk River for driving after revocation of his driver’s license.

Corcoran Police reported a DAR arrest Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 3:31 p.m. at Larkin Rd. and Old Settlers Rd. Arrested was Nickolas Lloyd Hendrickson, 18, of Elk River for driving after revocation of his driver’s license.

Property damage

The department reported a property damage auto crash Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 2:24 p.m. in the area of County Rd. 101 and County Rd. 30. The reporting party stated their wife was traveling east on County Rd. 30, approaching the intersection at County Rd. 101. The wife stated the sun was blinding her briefly and when the vehicle in front of them stopped rather abruptly, the wife bumped into the back of the other vehicle. The parties got out and the reporting party’s wife gave their information to the other driver; however the other driver refused to exchange information. The other driver contacted the insurance company and them to say the damage was $914.00. When the reporting party asked the other driver for their information, they refused again and became angry that they were asking her for the information. The reporting party stated their insurance was sending out an adjuster to look at the vehicle.

The department reported a property damage auto crash Saturday, Sept. 7 at 6:03 p.m. in the area of County Rd. 10 and County Rd. 19. The vehicle was traveling north on County Rd. 19 when they struck a deer that was running across the road to the east. No injuries were reported.

Theft

Theft of license tabs was reported Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 5:14 p.m. in the 65XX block of Horseshoe Bend Dr. The reporting party stated they noticed that their newly purchased license tabs were missing from the front and rear plates on their vehicle. They believed they were taken sometime between August 18 and August 24. The report has been forwarded to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office for entry into the system as stolen tabs.

Theft of check card was reported Sunday, Sept. 8 at 5:09 p.m. in the 96XX block of County Rd. 116. The reporting party stated their Dad took their check card. Officers attempted to make contact with the reporting party; however there was no answer and no call back from the reporting party.

Medicals

The department responded to a medical emergency Monday, Sept. 2 at 6:42 p.m. in the 206XX block of County Rd. 50. A 31 year old female had fallen off a horse. The patient was transported to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

The department responded to a medical emergency Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 5:27 a.m. in the 76XX block of Commerce St. A 50 year old male was bleeding. The Officers arrived on scene and found the patient has got their arm caught in a grinder. The patient denied medical care at the scene and transported themselves to the Maple Grove Hospital.

The department responded to a medical emergency Saturday, Sept. 7 at 8:08 p.m. in the 64XX block of Elm St. A 92 year old female was possibly having a stroke; she seems fine now, but would like her checked. The Officer was cancelled enroute; North Ambulance was on scene administering medical assistance.

The department responded to a medical emergency Sunday, Sept. 8 at 1:54 a.m. in the 73XX block of Jubert La. A 4 year old male was having difficulty breathing. North Ambulance transported the patient to the hospital.

Miscellaneous

The department responded to a report of threats on Monday, Sept. 2 at 4:58 p.m. in the 232XX block of Hwy 55. The reporting party stated an ex-employee threated to go to the business and take items that they thought were theirs. The reporting party advised they were aware the issues were civil; however they wanted police to be aware of the situation. The Officer checked the business and found no unusual activity and the doors were secure.

The department responded to a report of vandalism on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 11:36 a.m. in the 71XX block of Old Settlers Rd. The reporting party stated three juvenile males had thrown two plastic bottles at their residence around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1. The reporting party stated they could not identify the suspects on their video camera. The reporting party picked up the plastic bottles and advised there was no damage to the residence.

The department responded to a report of an attempt to locate on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 11:53 a.m. in the 65XX block of Park Trail Rd. The reporting party stopped by the police administrative office to request assistance in attempting to locate a former employee. The Officer attempted to make contact with someone at the residence; however no contact was made. The reporting party called back to state they found the person in the City of Buffalo.

The department responded to a report of a missing person on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 3:59 p.m. in the 64XX block of Hunter La. The reporting party stated their 5 year old son did not get off the bus at the bus stop today. The child was located at 5:20 p.m. on different bus at Gleason School in Plymouth. The child was fine. Plymouth PD picked up the child and returned him to his parents.

The department responded to a report of a welfare check on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 6:27 p.m. in the 208XX block of 70th Ave. N. The reporting party stated they received a voicemail from the subject stating they were having a breakdown at work. The reporting party was concerned for the subject and wanted to make sure the person was fine. Officers were able to make contact with a relative at the residence. The relative made contact with the subject and advised Officers that the subject would be fine.

The department responded to a report of a disturbance on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 6:25 p.m. in the 78XX block of Maple Hill Rd. The reporting party stated the kids move the soccer net so it is in line with their home, causing the ball to hit their house. The Officer spoke with the kids on the playing field about the issue with the soccer net. The kids said they wouldn’t move the net or hit the houses with the soccer balls anymore.

The department responded to a report of a 911 hang up call on Friday, Sept. 6 at 9:48 a.m. in the 63XX block of Pioneer Tr. The Officer made contact with someone at the residence and found that a child had been on the phone. All was fine.

The department responded to a report of a juvenile problem on Friday, Sept. 6 at 9:45 a.m. in the area of Abilene La. and County Rd. 116. The reporting party stated that on the night of Sept. 3, their wife was walking and a car drove past with two juvenile males in it. The juveniles yelled obscene words at the female. The reporting party and his wife were driving in the area of County Rd.116 and Hwy. 55 on Sept. 5 and saw the same vehicle. The reporting party wrote down the license plate of the vehicle and wanted to report the juvenile’s behavior to the police.

The department responded to a report of an attempt to locate on Friday, Sept. 6 at 12:17 p.m. in the 65XX block of County Rd. 101. The Officer received a request from Minnetonka PD to attempt to make contact with the suspect in a hit and run accident that occurred in Minnetonka earlier today. The Officer attempted to locate the suspect at the residence; however no one was there. The suspect arrived at the police administrative office on an unrelated matter later that afternoon. The Officer took photos of the vehicle and took insurance information for the Minnetonka PD. The Officer advised the person to contact Minnetonka PD regarding the situation.

The department responded to a report of a fire on Friday, Sept. 6 at 7:54 p.m. in the 68XX block of County Rd. 101. The reporting party stated their grill was on fire. The Officer arrived on scene and extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher. The Fire Chief from Loretto Fire Department arrived on scene to assist.

The department responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 4:33 p.m. in the area of Hunters Ridge and County Rd. 116. The reporting party stated there was a suspicious vehicle driving slowly in the area. Officers located the vehicle and learned a resident was downloading software onto their vehicle. No issues found.

The department responded to a report of an assist on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 10:27 p.m. in the 97XX block of County Rd. 101. The Officers were dispatched to assist Maple Grove PD with a search for a suspect in a road rage incident where a gun was involved. Officers located the suspect, escorted them outside of the business and found they did not have a gun. Officers advised Maple Grove PD and they cleared the incident.
