In its third year, the Wright County Soccer Club’s MVP Camp continues to grow. There were 40 girls and boys total the first year, 95 last year and 122 at the camp run July 15-10 for ages 6 to 16.

“Players have lots of fun while working on skills and learning to play the game of soccer,” said WCS President Andrew Taylor. “Camp director is Greg Wheaton, former pro player and owner of ISSE (International Soccer School of Excellence).”

Camp counselors are area college coaches and players, as well as local high school coaches. Campers come from Rockford, Delano, Buffalo, St. Michael, Montrose, Hanover and other surrounding communities.
