Monday, May 6

Officers were dispatched to a report of a missing four year-old child at 13000 block of Goldeneye Way. The reporting party was putting groceries away when she discovered that the child was missing. The child returned home prior to officer arrival. The child walked to the neighbor’s house across the street. The child was fine, and the officer talked to the child about the incident.

Donald James Adair, 48, was cited for passing on the shoulder at 141st Avenue and Northdale Boulevard.

Officer observed suspicious vehicles in the lot of a closed business at 12916 Main St. and determined one occupant had a controlled substance. Jamison Dean Bellows, 19, was cited.

Tuesday, May 7

Mitchell David Matthees, 25, was arrested for narcotics at 21985 South Diamond Lake Rd.

Melissa Helmi Crego, 26, was stopped and cited for driving after suspension and no proof of insurance at 141st Avenue and Jodis Drive.

Wednesday, May 8

Exodus Boduo Seeyon, 20, was arrested for gross misdemeanor no motor vehicle insurance third or more violation in 10 years, driving after revocation and false information to police officer regarding motor vehicle insurance at Rogers Drive and South Diamond Lake Road.

Barron Lee Chapman, 26, was arrested for burglary at South Diamond Lake Road and Northdale.

Thomas William Warian, 44, was arrested on Main Street for warrant for indecent exposure. Family member responded to the police department with the $500 bail — subject was released when bail was posted.

Received a call regarding the theft of two soccer goals from the fields on the north side of Rogers High School. The theft was discovered May 7. The goals were 4×6, painted white, and made of metal. The goals cost $150 each.

Officer took a theft report from the owner of Preferred Welding after an employee discovered that a septic system pump had been stolen. There were no witnesses and no video surveillance. The make, model, and serial number of the pump were unknown.

Thursday, May 9

Traffic complaint on a vehicle all over the road at Brockton Lane and County Rd. 81. Party was followed to his place of employment. Officers made contact with the driver inside his work, and observed he was obviously impaired and that had driven to work alone, without having any additional drinks while at work per his statements. Inside driver’s vehicle was open beer containers. John James Donnelly, 52, was arrested on the b-card restriction, open container, and 4th Degree DWI and his vehicle was subject to seizure due to the B-card restriction DWI.

Officers responded to 14096 Gadwall Lane for a complaint of juvenile males shooting an air rifle at the house and children that were outside. Officers identified the parties involved and recovered an air rifle from a nearby residence. The incident is under investigation.

Friday, May 10

Officer responded to a call of a large grass fire between the residential area on Heather Ridge Drive and the Crow River. Officer assisted by locating a route for fire personnel to get to the fire and directed fire trucks to the scene as they arrived. There were no injuries and no damage to public property or structures was reported.

Two car crash occurring at 141st Avenue and Northdale Boulevard, both cars were towed. Two citations were issued, one to each driver. Cited were Zachary Theodore Adams, 33, and Travis Matthew Gottwaldt, 20.

A 65-year-old male was found unconscious/ not breathing in his back yard at the 14000 block of Dehnsfield Rd. Members of the RPD, RFD and North Ambulance exhausted resuscitation attempts on the subject who was pronounced dead at the scene. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner responded to the scene along with Crime lab. A death investigation is under way in cooperation with Hennepin County Detectives.

Saturday, May 11

James Williwam Turner, 33, was cited for driving after suspension, no proof of motor vehicle insurance, at Dowling Avenue and I-94.

Cedric A Erby, 23, was cited for driving after revocation and no seatbelt, at Dowling Avenue and I-94.

Paul Gutierrez, 35, was cited for no driver’s license and no proof of insurance at Main Street and South Diamond Lake Road.

David Brandt Burtness, 34, was cited for expired driving status at Brockton Lane and County Rd. 81.

Determined driver was violating terms of instruction permit due to no licensed driver over 18 years old.  Driver was also cited for allowing an open bottle and no insurance. One passenger was cited for open bottle. Alcohol taken as evidence due to no sober adult over 21 years of age. Cited were Steven Robert Kressling, 19, and Jay Joseph Wolyniec, 44.

Sunday, May 12

Robert Edward Dexter, 21, was cited for ignition interlock device violation and limited license violation at John Milless Drive and County Rd. 81.

Joshua John Howell, 27, was cited for passing on the shoulder, careless driving and speeding at County Rd. 36 and Hwy. 101.

Vehicle stopped for improper turn. Driver cited for driving after revocation and no motor vehicle insurance.  One passenger was cited for possession of a hypodermic needle and another was issued a written warning for no seatbelt. Cited were Daneil Duane Sam, 31, and Leslie James Gahbow, 29.
