Dozens of Champlin residents took advantage of the weekend to clean out their closets and garages to sell their wares while many others took up the task of treasure hunting during the citywide garage sale weekend May 2-4.
Laura Gaustad, of Champlin and her son, Owen Gaustad, try out a large stuffed horse they found at a garage sale in Champlin over the weekend.
“It was almost life size to a pony,” said Laura. “It brings new meaning to the buying your child a horse.”
Laura Gaustad also discovered this metal Jeepster (above left) Tonka, a toy truck that is no longer manufactured.
