Vehicle Day is headed to Champlin Park High School Saturday, May 4 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Vehicle Day is an event for children to see the vehicles that come and go through their neighborhood up close, and even sit in the driver’s seat. The opportunity just might inspire a child to imagine themselves as a police officer, fire fighter, mail carrier, or a truck driver.
The event is organized by Anoka-Hennepin Early Childhood Family Education and School Readiness Parent Advisory Council. Children of all ages are welcome to attend, but must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is not necessary. Admission is $1 per person, although there is no charge for infants three months of age or younger. In the event of inclement weather, call Anoka-Hennepin Early Childhood Family Education at (763) 506-1275 for a recorded message, which will confirm event details on May 4.
The event will be held in the Champlin Park High School west parking lot. Located at 6025 109th Ave. North, Champlin.
