Editor’s Note: The following represents some, but not nearly all, of the calls reported by Rogers Police from Dec. 28 through Jan. 7.
Friday, Dec. 28
Responded to fire alarm at Taco Bell covering all smoke and heat sensors. Alarm was caused from the smoke that is given off when the employees were cleaning the grills at close. Rogers Fire Department responded as well. There was no actual fire and no damage occurred.
Tyler Gordon Johnson, 52, was cited for driving after revocation and no motor vehicle insurance at 13100 block of Main St.
Grace Lee Smart, 20, was arrested for attempted check forgery at TCF bank.
Michael Joseph Madden, 21, was cited for driving after revocation at Territorial Road and Wood Lane.
Annie Elizabeth Lindskoog, 23, was cited for no motor vehicle insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia at South Diamond Lake Road and Main Street.
Saturday, Dec. 29
Fourteen minors were issued citations for minor consumption at 13100 block of Aspen Drive. Above 18 years old cited include Michael Maxwell Maurer, 18; Dylan Douglas Morris, 19; John Parker Veith, 18; and Kyle Evan Warren Williams, 19.
Zachary Lynn Pointer, 20, was cited for careless driving and driving after revocation at 20600 block of Bluebill Ave.
Sunday, Dec. 30
Assisted Dayton Police Department with a suicidal male possibly in possession of a firearm. Suspect was located near the residence in the vehicle. Suspect was placed on a welfare hold and was transported to Mercy Hospital by Allina.
William Scott Abresch, 55, was cited for inattentive driving, eating a fast food sandwich, following a rear-end crash at South Diamond Lake Road and Main Street.
Tuesday, Jan. 1
Dispatch advised of a domestic assault in progress at 21000 block of Maple Ave. The suspect was threatening the reporting party and the reporting party’s boyfriend with a hatchet. Upon arrival and after investigation, it was determined that the suspect would be placed under arrest for domestic assault causing fear. Arrested was Kimberly Lynn Dupre, 49.
Thursday, Jan. 3
Felony theft of audio/speaker/television equipment was reported from business at 20610 Commerce Blvd.
Officers responded to a structural fire involving a large storage shed in the area of Brockton Lane/ 124th Ave. Roger Fire and State Fire Marshall responded. Structure sustained fire damage, no known injuries.
Officers received information regarding a three year old male that was found on a neighborhood street. Before Officers arrived, caretaker for the child came and picked him up. Officers met with child and caretaker (aunt). All OK.
Friday, Jan. 4
Nick Freeborn Williams, 34, was cited for a crash that occurred at 141st Avenue and Main Street.
Saturday, Jan. 5
Nicholas John Hansen, 22, was cited for driving after revocation, disobey stop sign, possession of drug paraphernalia at Richard Street and South Diamond Lake Road.
Officers received a call of a theft that just occurred at the Travel America in Rogers. The reporting party stated that another man had stolen his duffle bag with personal property inside at the Rogers truck stop. Officers responded to the scene, located and identified the reporting party and suspect, located the stolen property that was dumped in a trash can, and arrested the suspect. The 49 year old suspect, Mihcael McMillon, was booked at the Hennepin County Jail for theft and littering, and a hold was placed on him for a warrant out of Florida. The suspect’s vehicle was impounded after the arrest.
Officers responded to a theft report at the Stone Lounge. Owner stated multiple items were taken including a TV and liquor.
Isaac Heiskala, 18, was cited for theft of gas and driving after revocation at 13028 Main St.
Sunday, Jan. 6
Vilaphong Sirivong, 37, wsa cited for driving after revocation.
