Arrests/citations

On Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 8:55 p.m. on the 300 block of Lorenz St., Loretto, Christopher John Christiansen, 44, of Loretto was arrested for DWI with a BAC of .13.

On Thursday, Dec. 6, at Highway 55 and County Rd. 19, Matthew Ray McClure, 31 of Monticello was arrested for DWI with a BAC of .10.

On Friday, Dec. 7, at 4:49 p.m. at County Rd. 19 and County Rd. 24, Katie Mavna McCarthy, 42, of Waverly was arrested for DWI in a vehicle that was pulling a horse trailer and was in the ditch. The horse had to be put down. Charges are pending results of testing.

On Sunday, Dec. 9, at 12:09 a.m. at County Rd. 101 and Lilac Dr., Richard William Mace, 29, of Wisconsin, was arrested for DWI with a BAC of .23.

On Sunday, Dec. 9, at 1:19 a.m. at County Rd. 19 and County Rd. 50, Corcoran, Mark Dennis Kettenacker, 42, of Rockford was arrested for DWI with a BAC of .16.

Theft

On Monday, Nov. 26, at 6:38 p.m. on the 700 block of Highway 55, there was a gas drive-off of $43.64.

On Friday, Nov. 30, at 9:41 p.m. on the 1300 block of Baker Park Rd., there was a gas drive-off of $51.04.

On Saturday, Dec. 1, at 11:42 a.m. no the 700 block of Highway 55, unauthorized use of a credit card was reported.

On Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 12:43 p.m. on the 700 block of Medina St. N, Loretto, there was a report that a door had been stolen off a skid steer.

On Friday, Dec. 7., at 4:25 p.m. on the 200 block of Highway 55, there was a report of numerous items being taken from a vehicle.

On Sunday, Dec. 12, at 12:26 p.m. on the 1300 block of Baker Park Rd., there was a gas drive-off of $58.02.

Other

On Monday, Nov. 26, at 12:16 .m. at Highway 55 and Tamarack Dr., officer observed a vehicle pulling into a driveway, turning around and darting out. Officer made contact and learned that the driver was from out of state and was on the phone attempting to get directions.

On Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 10:49 a.m. on the 2700 block of Deer Hill Rd., there was a complaint regarding an on-going issue of dumping debris and old tires.

On Thursday, Nov. 29, and Friday, Nov. 30 on the 200 block of St. John St., Loretto, there were reports of smoke in the area. Both incidents were related to a wood-burning stove, which has elicited many calls.

On Monday, Dec. 3, at 1:06 p.m. at Brockton Lane and Hamel Rd., there was a report related to an ongoing issue of unleashed dogs. The dog owner was located and advised of the city ordinance.

On Thursday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 a.m. on the 4300 block of Willow Dr., there were reports of a suspicious vehicle driving in circles. The driver was located and told the officer that her was early for a job interview and was looking for a good place to park.

On Thursday, Dec. 6, at 11:55 p.m. on the 300 block of Clydesdale Tr., an employee was locked in a business. The key-holder was reached, and the employee let out.

On Sunday, Dec. 9, at 1:35 a.m. on the 4000 block of Wild Meadows Dr., officer advised two juveniles in a vehicle that they were out after curfew and needed to return home.

On Sunday, Dec. 9, at 11:48 a.m. on the 100 block of Medina St., Loretto, there was a noise complaint.
