Arrests & Citations

On Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 6:14 p.m. at Ardmore Ave. and County Rd. 19, Casey Joseph Dirks, 39, of Rockford was arrested for DWI with a BAC of .16.

On Thursday, Nov. 8, at 4:04 p.m. at County Rd. 19 and Highway 55, Tyler John Trout, 24, of Greenfield was issued a citation for Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia, and Texting.

On Friday, Nov. 9, at 1:38 a.m. at Hamel Rd. and Highway 55, Joshua Ryan Schipps, 25, of Plymouth was arrested for DWI with a BAC of .10.

On Saturday, Nov. 10, at 2:12 a.m. on the Highway 55 and County Rd. 19, Rory Levine Bruneau, 33, of Blaine was arrested for DWI with a BAC of .09.

On Saturday, Nov. 10, at 12:27 p.m. at County Rd. 19 and County Rd. 24,”Intent to Escape Motor Vehicle Tax” allegation was forwarded to the city’s attorney for formal charges.

On Saturday, Nov. 10, at 11:52 p.m. at Highway 55 and Arrowhead Dr., Ronald Jason Dickson, 34, of Plymouth was arrested for DWI with a BAC of .10.

On Sunday, Nov. 11, at 12:24 a.m.  at Holey Name Park, David John Wagers, 53, of St. Louis Park, and Adrian Brendon Dennis, 40, of Plymouth were cited for Disorderly Conduct and being in the park after hours.

On Thursday, Nov. 15, at 7:13 p.m. on the 300 block of Hamel Rd., Kurt Bogart, 47, of Medina was arrested for Driving After Cancellation and Inimical to Public Safety.

On Thursday, Nov. 15, at 9:40 p.m. at County Rd. 11 and Townline Rd, Loretto, Cynthia Ann Bystrom, 58, of Maple Plain was arrested for Driving After Cancellation, Inimical to Public Safety, and DWI, refusing to submit to test.

On Sunday, Nov. 18, at 2:31 a.m. on the 400 block of Highway 55, officer responded to a report of customer trouble. David Dean Warmbier, 54, of Minneapolis was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.

Thefts

On Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 12:14 p.m. on the 3100 block of Hunter Dr., the theft of tow 40” Toshiba LCD televisions from an outdoor bar/kitchen area was reported.

On Thursday, Nov. 8, at 12:04 p.m. on the 200 block of Highway 55, it was reported that a rental truck had not been returned on time, but was later returned.

On Thursday, Nov. 8, at 12:30 p.m. on the 1300 block of Baker Park Rd., a gas drive-off of $54 was reported.

On Thursday, Nov. 8, at 3:03 p.m. on the 4300 block of Highway 55, a female entered a business and stated that she had run out of gas. She left with the gas can and $15 of gas, and did not return.

On Monday, Nov. 12, at 10:12 a.m. on the 130 block of Baker Park Dr., a gas drive-off of $24.01 was reported.

On Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 6:37 p.m. on the 1300 block of Baker Park Rd., there was a gas drive-off of $42.50.

Other

On Monday, Nov. 5, at 7:05 on the 2300 block of Cox Tr., there was a “pocket dial” 911 call, with no problem.

On Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 10:02 p.m. on the 200 block of Highway 55, there was a report of an unknown vehicle letting the pump with an estimated 5-gallon gas spill. The Hamel Fire Department arrived and cleaned up the spill.

On Thursday, Nov. 8, at 6:10 a.m. on the 1300 block of Baker Park Rd., there was a gas drive-off of $30.21. It was a regular customer who was in the store chatting after pumping the gas and was believed to have forgotten to pay.

On Friday, Nov. 9, at 10:52 p.m. on the 100 block of Railway St. W, Loretto, a male, causing problems, was asked to leave the premises and did so prior of officer arrival.

On Saturday, Nov. 10, at 10:47 p.m. at County Rd. 24 and Willow Dr., there was a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the area. An officer ran a check on the vehicle’s registration and determined that it belonged to a party in the area of the call.

On Sunday, Nov. 11, at 11:25 a.m. on the 200 block of St. John St., Loretto, there was a report of a male digging through garbage dumpsters. The male was located and questioned. An investigation continued.

On Sunday, Nov. 11, at 4:43 p.m. on the 100 block of Clydesdale Tr., there was a report of a stray kitten. The caller was advised to contact the humane society.

On Monday, Nov. 12, at 10:53 a.m. on the 700 block of Tower Dr., a business reported a possible break-in attempt.

On Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 9:20 p.m. on the 4400 block of Highway 55, there was a report of an unwanted person. The individual was transported home.

On Thursday, Nov. 15, at 11:34 a.m. on the 1000 block of Medina Rd., a grass fire was reported. The Hamel Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.
