Maple Grove finished the regular season 14-9 and 5-5 in the powerful Northwest Suburban Conference. The Crimson picked up conference wins against Champlin Park, Coon Rapids, Centennial, Park Center and Elk River.

“The players thus far have shown improvement individually and as a team,” Maple Grove coach Monika Getchell said. “We have had strong matches in conference play, at the Howard-Lake-Waverly-Winsted tournament and the October Classic at Apple Valley.”

The Crimson have received contributions from the entire squad. They are led by seniors outside hitters Tegan LeBarge and Erin Engel, senior defensive specialists Morgan Smith and Laura Otterness and senior middile hitter Jennifer Vangorder-Braid. Juniors Taylor Johnson (middle hitter), and setters Jenna Begin and Kayla Crane; sophomores Laura Brixius (outside hitter), libero Amber Demenge and defensive specialist Courtney Medick and freshman middle hitter Lauren Bright round up Maple Grove’s section team.
