Maple Grove’s Lake Quality Commission now recruiting 2 members

The city of Maple Grove is currently recruiting members for the city’s Lake Quality Commission.

The Lake Quality Commission is a 12-member committee. Seven of the 12 members are chosen to represent areas near the city’s lakes with the remaining five members representing the community at-large.

The Maple Grove Lake Quality Commission is concerned with activities adjacent to and near the lakes as they affect water quality and with the surface use of the lakes.

Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month. Members serve for three-year terms.

This Committee is in need of two members. One committee member would represent the community at-large and an additional member is needed who currently resides in and can represent Edward Lake.
