The following public safety summary information from the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Unit is provided to residents as a public service. These highlights from Oct. 8 to Oct. 14, 2012, do not reflect all incidents handled or investigated by the HCSO during this time period.
In addition to the law enforcement services it provides throughout the county, the HCSO provides primary patrol services for the communities of Hassan Township, Greenfield, Medicine Lake and Fort Snelling, as well as the Hennepin County portions of Hanover and Rockford.
On Oct. 12, deputies responded to an address on the 18400 block of Robinson Street to assist Dayton PD with an assault. Two males had gotten into an argument that became physical. One suspect had left the bar before deputies arrived. The victim didn’t want to pursue any charges and wanted the incident documented. No further action was needed.
On Oct. 8, deputies responded to an address on the 8000 block of Hwy. 55 for a medical. An infant was reported as having difficulty breathing. North ambulance arrived and assessed the infant. No other action was needed.
On Oct. 12, deputies responded to an address on the 8300 block of Cedar Street to assist Wright County with a domestic disturbance. A female had and male had gotten into an argument, the female had threatened her husband with a knife. Wright County deputies arrived and after speaking with all parties arrested the female. No other action was needed.
On Oct. 10, deputies responded to an address on the 7600 block of 69th Avenue for a medical. A 22-year-old female was having chest pains. North ambulance arrived, took over the care and transported her to Buffalo Hospital.
On Oct. 11, deputies responded to an address on the 8500 block of Rebecca Park Trail for a theft report. The 46-year-old male reports his deer stand was stolen from the field. The suspect had left his camera and decoy at the location. A Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
On Oct. 13, deputies responded to an address in the 4900 block of 70th Avenue N. for a medical. A 23-year-old male was having chest pains. North ambulance arrived and transported him to North Memorial Hospital.
On Oct. 13, deputies responded to the Rockford High School for a harassment complaint. A juvenile female was getting unwanted text messages and wanted them to stop. Deputies went to a juvenile males home and spoke to he and his parents. All agreed he would not contact the female any more. No other action was needed.
During the week of Oct. 8 to Oct. 14, 2012, Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies also issued or provided: five citations and two assists.
