When temperatures drop and the leaves fall off the trees in Rockford, it can mean only one thing: Homecoming.
Rockford Homecoming week begins Monday, Oct. 1 and runs through Friday, Oct. 5 with lots of fun activities for all.
Monday is “Get up and Go” Day with JV and C squad football (Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa versus Rockford at home at 4:30 p.m., and Rockford Varsity Boys soccer versus PACT Charter at home at 7.
The big event, Homecoming Coronation, will be at 8 in the RHS auditorium.
Tuesday is “Favorite Teacher” Day, with a pep fest at the middle school at 1:15 p.m., and another at the elementary school at 2.
Wednesday is “Favorite Sports” Day. Movie Night is at 7:30 p.m. at RHS.
Thursday is “Class Color” Day. There will be pep fest at RHS at 1:30 p.m., a Powder Puff Football game (Stadium Field) at 2, Girls JV Soccer versus Cambridge-Isanti at 4, Girls Varsity Soccer versus Cambridge-Isanti at 6, Volleyball JV & C Squad versus Pierz Healy (main gym) at 5:45, and Varsity Volleyball versus Pierz Healy at 7.
Friday is “Spirit” Day with a Royal Lunch at 11 a.m., the big game –
Varsity Football versus Pierz Healy in the Stadium Field at 7 p.m. The
Homecoming Dance begins at 9.
