‘Noises Off’

SEPT. 7-23 — Lyric Arts presents the first show of its 2012-2013 season, “Noises Off.” The farcical comedy features a play within a play storyline that is filled with comedic misunderstandings and mayhem. “Noises Off” opens Sept. 7 and runs through Sept. 23. Cub Scout Roundup

SEPT. 13 — Champlin Pack 420 is hosting the annual Fall Roundup at Oxbow Creek Elementary on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria. Boys in kindergarten through fifth grade are eligible to sign up for Cub Scouts. A short presentation on the Scouting program as well as a question and answer session will be featured for parents. Fill out an application to join and get one-on-one assistance from our Pack Leaders.

Events for boys to check out at the roundup will include a mini-Pinewood Derby and Nerf target shooting in the gym, along with other fun Cub Scout-related activities.

Dayton Heritage Day

SEPT. 15 — Dayton Heritage Day kicks off with lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Senior Center followed by a parade on Robinson Street at 1 p.m. Additional activities include food booths, ice cream and pie social, kids games and activities along with a beer garden and live music until 11 p.m. Events occur in the historic village of Dayton.

CPHS boys hockey pancake breakfast

SEPT. 22 — Champlin Park High School boys hockey will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 22 from 7 to 10 a.m. at Broadway Pizza in Champlin. OCT. 27 — The annual Osseo Kiddie Halloween Parade will be Saturday, Oct. 27, at noon. Kids in costumes can walk along Central Avenue and get treats.
