Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the City of Osseo from Aug. 10th to Aug. 23rd.

Arrests:

Osseo Police arrested a 48-year-old Osseo man on a gross misdemeanor warrant on the 100 block of Regan Lane on Aug. 12. He was taken into custody without incident and booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

Osseo Police arrested a 37-year-old Brooklyn Park man on Aug. 13 on the 10300 block of County Road 81 for driving after cancellation. His vehicle was impounded and he was released with a citation.

Osseo Police arrested a 48-year-old man from Mason City, Iowa on the 300 block of Central Ave. on Aug. 17 for a fourth degree DWI. His vehicle was impounded and he was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department. Further charges are possibly pending results of a urine test.

Osseo Police arrested a 43-year-old male from Maple Grove on Aug. 17 for driving after suspension. He was issued a citation and released.

Osseo Police arrested a 29-year-old female from Eagan during a high visible DWI patrol on Aug. 19. The suspect was arrested for fourth degree DWI and driving after suspension. Her vehicle was impounded and she was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

Osseo Police arrested a 26-year-old man from Glenco on Hwy. 169 at Hwy. 610 for fourth degree DWI, and fourth degree alcohol concentration over .08 on Aug. 19. His vehicle was impounded and he was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

Osseo Police arrested a 21-year-old man from Brooklyn Park on Aug. 19 on the 700 block of Central Ave. for driving after revocation and expired registration. The subject was issued a citation and released and his vehicle was impounded.

Osseo Police arrested a 21-year-old man from New Hope on the 8500 block of Hwy. 169 on Aug. 22 for fourth degree DWI. His vehicle was impounded and he was transported to North Memorial Hospital for a blood test. Charges are on hold pending results of the blood test.

Incidents:

Osseo Police responded to an intrusion alarm at a business on the 300 block of County Road 81 on Aug. 11. The building was locked up and no problems were found.

Osseo Police responded to an intrusion alarm at a business on the 8600 block of Jefferson Hwy. on Aug. 11. A search of the building was done with the key holder. No problems were found.

Osseo Police responded to a several juveniles loitering in the parking lot of a business on the 300 block of Central Ave. on Aug. 14 preventing customers from being able to access the business. Police advised the juveniles to move out of the way. No charges are pending.

Osseo Police responded to a report of several juveniles being loud on Aug. 15 on the 300 block of Second Ave. N.W. Contact was made with the juveniles and they were given a verbal warning. No charges are pending.

Osseo Police located an unsecure door to a warehouse building on the 8700 block of Jefferson Hwy. on Aug. 15 while doing random building checks. A search of the building was done with a Sheriff’s K9 unit and no problems were found. The door was secured by Osseo Police.

Osseo Police took a theft of medication on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. on Aug. 16. There are no suspects.

Osseo Police responded to a 911 hang up call on the Aug. 17 on the 100 block of Broadway Street West. Police discovered it was an accidental misdial. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police were dispatched to a report of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance on Aug. 18 on the 100 block of Central Ave. Police searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police responded to a dog versus dog bite on the 300 block of Fifth Ave. S.E. on Aug. 19. The case is currently under investigation.

Osseo Police responded to a suspicious male on the 300 block of Fifth Ave. S.E. on Aug. 21. Contact was made with the 17 year old suspect who happened to be lost walking home from the high school. He was transported home to Brooklyn Park.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to an unconscious male at a business on the 300 block of Central Ave. on Aug. 13. The 57-year-old male patient was provided oxygen and was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to an ill person on the Aug. 14 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. on Aug. 14. The 50-year-old male patient was examined by paramedics and refused transport to the hospital.

Osseo Police responded to a possible heart attack on the 500 block of Fourth Ave. N.E. on Aug. 14. The female patient was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a possible heart attack on the 50 block of Sixth Street N.W. on Aug. 18. The female patient was given oxygen by police and was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to person that had fallen off from a chair on the 200 block of Third Ave. S.E. on Aug. 18. The 58-year-old male patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of an unconscious male on the Aug. 18 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. The 63-year-old male patient was provided oxygen. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a possible heart attack on Aug. 21 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. The 83-year-old female patient was complaining of sharp chest pains. She was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of one feeling ill on Aug. 23 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. The 32-year-old female patient was feeling ill after consuming alcohol and prescription medications. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

Osseo Police responded to a two-car property damage accident in the parking lot of a business on the 300 block of County Road 81 on Aug. 10. Both drivers exchanged information. No charges are pending.
