The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred during the week of Aug. 17 through Aug. 23, 2012. Refer to the city website Crime Mapping Section for additional details for the crimes of burglary, robbery, arson, theft and vehicle theft.
Friday, Aug. 17
13600 block of 80 Circle — There was a damage to property report of a construction door pried at building under construction. It did not appear entry was made.
7700 block of Elm Creek Blvd. — There were reports of two thefts of wallets stolen from workstations in an office building.
6600 block of Ives Lane — The department responded to an individual having chest pains. Officers administered oxygen until the individual was transported to the hospital by paramedics.
16700 block of 94th Ave. — There was a report of a theft of two computers stolen from a store. The suspect fled in a vehicle.
6600 block of Annapolis Lane — There was a report of graffiti and damage to property whereas suspect(s) spray painted on side of vehicle, tailgate was “keyed” and a hole was poked in cover of truck that was parked in driveway.
8000 block of Zachary Lane — There was a report of an attempted theft and damage to property of cables cut off conveyers and hidden behind a concrete barrier along Weaver Lake Road.
Saturday, Aug. 18
17800 block of Weaver Lake Road — There was a theft report of power tools stolen from a garage.
11500 block of 97th Ave. — There was a report of damage to property where a fence that appeared to have been damaged by a vehicle.
12100 block of Elm Creek Blvd. —There was a theft report of an iPhone stolen from a customer.
12600 block of Elm Creek Blvd. — There was a theft report of a cell phone stolen out of a vehicle in the parking lot.
9400 block of Sycamore Lane — There was a damage to property report of several houses toilet papered.
Benjamin Kimbler, 26, of Blaine was arrested for second degree DWI, second degree DUI, open bottle and careless driving on the 13500 block of Grove Drive. N.
Sunday, Aug. 19
12300 block of 90 Place — There was a damage to property report of landscape lights damaged in the yard of a residence.
8100 block of Wedgewood Lane — There was a report of an attempted theft where two individuals attempting to steal merchandise from store. When confronted by Loss Prevention, they dropped the items and fled in a vehicle.
Monday, Aug. 20
15100 block of Shadow Creek Road — There was a damage to property report of a house toilet papered during the week.
Tuesday, Aug. 21
County Road 81 & Elm Creek Blvd. — There was a damage to property report of graffiti spray painted on a wall underneath a bridge.
16350 95th Ave. — There was a theft report of a vehicle leaving a gas station without paying for gas.
13600 block of Grove Drive — There was a theft report of a suspect shoplifting from the store. The suspect fled on foot.
Wednesday, Aug. 22
13300 block of Bass Lake Road — There was a theft report of a vehicle leaving a gas station without paying for gas.
81st & Hemlock Lane — There was a theft report of rocks stolen from the gravel pit area.
There were 22 property damage and two personal injury traffic accidents reported during this time period.
Kivi Crowder, 50, of Maple Grove was arrested Aug. 12 for second degree DWI, driving after revocation, careless driving, centerline violation and improper signal to turn at Elm Creek Blvd. and County Road. 30.
James Ratz, 43, of Osseo was arrested Aug. 12 for a violation of a harassment/restraining order on the 9900 block of Monticello Lane N.
Bradley Odens, 36, of Maple Grove was arrested Aug. 12 for domestic assault on the 9700 block of 104th Ave. N.
Shanyce Fryhling, 18, of Maple Grove was arrested Aug. 12 for shoplifting on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane N.
Keith Cerny, 18, of Chanhassen was arrested Aug. 12 for windshield reflective/tinted/glaze and possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle at County Road 30 and Upland Lane.
Alyssa Brown, 24, of Minneapolis was arrested Aug. 14, for possession or selling of a small amount of marijuana at Bass Lake Road and Lawndale Lane N.
Dennis Crowe, 71, of Maple Grove was arrested Aug. 14 for terroristic threats and second degree aggravated assault on the 9900 block of 103rd Place N.
