I am announcing my candidacy for the Osseo City Council. I have lived in Osseo for over 41 years and my husband, Ray, was born and raised in this community. He owned and operated Heinen’s Champion Auto and is a retired Osseo Fire Fighter.
I graduated from Cathedral High School in St. Cloud. I continued my education at St. Frances Hospital in Breckenridge and became a registered X-ray technologist.
I then attended St. Cloud State University, St. Benedicts and St. Cloud Hospital School of Medical Technology and became a Certified Medical Technologist. I received my Masters Degree from the University of St. Thomas in Allied Health Care.
I worked at Methodist and North Memorial Hospitals and served as a teacher/program director at the St. Paul College in the Medical Laboratory Technician/Associate Degree Program.
I have been a Girl Scout Leader for three years, religious education teacher at St. Mary of the Lake Church in Plymouth, delivered meals on wheels, been a member of the Osseo Friend of the Library and worked with Catholic Charities in the elderly program.
I will strive to fulfill the duties of an Osseo City Council member keeping the citizens of Osseo as my main goal. Osseo is a great city and I am excited and energized about this opportunity to serve the residents of Osseo.
I look forward to discussing your ideas and concerns about the future of this great little community.
