St. Michael Daze & Knights 2012

The crowds came out to St. Michael for the annual Daze & Knights summer festival, and excellent weather didn’t hurt the cause. Here, Lucas Tiffany just can’t resist touching the fire hose spray. Helping out is St. Michael Firefighter Jeff Pelowski. (Photos by Aaron Brom)

Perfect summer weather, a candy-filled parade, and activities for all ages added up to a big success for the annual St. Michael Daze & Knights Festival.

This year’s festival took place Aug. 10 through 12, featuring bingo, a business expo, chalk walk art, classic car show, kid’s zoo, craft fair/farmers market, fireworks, food drive, medallion hunt, parade, lumberjack show, sawdust pile treasure hunt, water fun and softball tournament.

St. Michael’s own Section 30 band rocked out the night Saturday and another area favorite, the Roadkill Band, closed the festivities with a concert Sunday afternoon.
