Parents and students in grades 7 to 12 interested in participating in fall activities are invited to attend the Fall Activities Eligibility and 7 to 12 Team Meetings Monday, Aug. 6, 6 p.m. at the Rockford High School.
Fall activities include cross country, football, volleyball, soccer, cheerleading, musical, and dance team. Coaches and advisors will be on hand to meet with the teams and to answer any questions during the team meeting session.
According to Activities Director Glenn Klaphake, “Activities participation is a great way to become meaningfully involved in the school. It is great for developing relationships and it is correlated with improved grades, attendance and wellness.” He encourages participants to invite their friends to the meetings on August 6 to learn more about the programs of their choice.
The fall activities registration packet is now available online at www.rockford.k12.mn.us within the activities homepage. Interested families are asked to download, print and complete the forms prior to being submitted at the meeting. Registration packets are also available at the high school activities office and/or the middle school office and/or the Rockford Community Center. Other meeting details can be found on the activities home page.
