The following incidents were reported by West Hennepin Public Safety between May 6 and May 12.
On May 7, at 9:07 p.m. the department received a call for a possible house fire on the 5200 block of County Road 6. Officer found everything was ok just a 3×3 recreation fire.
On May 9, at 8:18 a.m. a wheel barrow was found in the eastbound lane of Highway 12 and Hitsman Lane. Wheelbarrow looked like it was in new condition. Wheelbarrow placed into safekeeping for owner to claim and identify the wheelbarrow.
On May 11, at 8:43 a.m. an older female Border Collie mix, black in color with white paws and grey around the muzzle was found in the roadway at County Road 90 and Pagenkopf Road. The owner was found who stated her children feel sorry for the dog having to wear the collar so they take if off her.
On May 11, at 9:38 a.m. there was a report that dog leashes were found at the Pioneer Creek Community Park. Leashes were not claimed and are held until owner calls and identifies.
On May 8, at 3:05 p.m. there was a report that keys were found outside an apartment complex on the 5400 block of Main Street. Key ring had car keys, a door opener, a picture, a grocery store scan tag and a library tag. The Officer picked up the keys and noted a key tag on one of the rings, with a bar code on it. On the back of the tag it stated, "If these keys are found, please drop them in a postal delivery container and the postage will be paid, guaranteed." The keys were brought to the post office and mailed.
On May 9, at 1:15 p.m. a 75-year-old female from Rockford was walking into the store on the 1500 block of Howard Avenue and fell, possibly fracturing her leg in the 1500 block of Howard Avenue. North Memorial Ambulance arrived on scene and transported her to Ridgeview Medical Center.
On May 11, at 12:12 p.m. there was a solicitor complaint on the 5200 block of Bryant Street. Solicitors were located and verbally warned for soliciting without a permit. A 23-year-old driver from Little Falls was issued a citation for driving after suspension. He knew he was suspended and drove around the block anyways.
