Rockford softball posted its best record in recent years, going 14-8 overall, 11-3 in the Central Minnesota Conference, good for second place.
Earning All-Conference honors were Shannon Ritten, Brianna Calder and Lexi Majeski.
Second team selections were Katelynn Pedersen, Ashley Dick and Brooke Dormanen.
Dick had the most hits with 30, Ritten led with 15 runs batted in and Calder led the Rockets with 16 runs scored and a .394 batting average.
Rockford won the bronze team academic award in the conference. Named to the CMC All-Academic team was Megan Bode, Calder, Emily Koenen and Megan Westrup.
Dick and Calder were on the All-Section team.
Calder was given the award at the team banquet for most hustle and dedication. Dick and Pedersen were most improved and Majeski was named most valuable player.
"We experienced success throughout the grade 7-12 program with an overall record of 57-21," said coach Dawn Engebretson. "We will miss our seniors, Emily Koenen, Kaitlynn Littrell and Shannon Ritten, and our foreign exchange student Lena Schulz."
