Hanover City Councilor Ken Warpula was re-elected after having secured the most votes between five candidates seeking two council seats. Warpula received 529 votes (30 percent), while newcomer Jim Zajicek was also elected, with 486 votes (27 percent). Challenger Joe Kaul had 352 votes, Doug Nordberg had 231 votes, and Nathan Brown received 167 votes.
