For the first time ever the Northwest Area Jaycees Club was forced to abandon its annual egg hunt in Corcoran. Rain and muddy fields spelled the end of the hunt, but JCs put on their thinking cap and ran car to car passing out Easter bags full of candy. Folks who came in from the rain did get to meet the Bunny, including (here) Collin and Andrew Goodwater of Corcoran.

Firefighters attend the scene of a structure fire Tuesday, April 9, at 7:09 a.m. at the 20000 block of 75 Ave. N. The reporting party advised there was a building on fire. Everyone was evacuated from the building. The Hamel, Loretto, Rogers, Hanover, Maple Grove, Plymouth, Long Lake and Maple Plain fire departments responded to extinguish the fire. The cause is under investigation.
