Polar vortex was a phrase added to the popular Minnesota lexicon during the winter of 2013-14.  But some unpopular phrases were probably also uttered when homeowners received their energy bills this past winter.

A good place to start in reducing energy bills is to keep the warm air where it should be, in the house, and not leaking out through the roof.  While a natural part of the home owning process, some owners are too busy or just not comfortable spending free time in the attic assessing their insulation’s heat-conserving aptitude.
