Medina Celebration Day brings on free fun, fireworks

Medina Celebration Day. Saturday, Sept. 16, will feature many free family fun activities, opportunities to shop at a farmers market and play bingo and more.

The day will run from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hamel Community Building, 3200 Mill Drive, Medina. The climax of the event will be fireworks, made possible by donations from area businesses, organizations and individuals.


From 4 to 7:30 p.m. visitors will find a business expo, farmers market, and food vendors, along with free ice cream cones and popcorn, while supplies last.

From 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. family fun activities will include bingo, face painting, rides on the antique fire truck and kids barrel train, search and rescue dogs and drone demonstrations, inflatable bounce and rock climb, Touch-a-Truck, pumpkin decorating, kids games, bonfire with s’mores and more.

The grand finale will be the 8 p.m. fireworks display.
