STMA ranked 6th in state for test scores

St. Michael-Albertville School District ranks among the top districts in Minnesota according to SchoolDigger, a school search and comparison site.

STMA ranks sixth out of 441 based on tests results released Aug. 7, by the Minnesota Department of Education.

According to SchoolDigger, “We believe that knowing how well a school performs on standardized tests is one part of the complex puzzle facing parents in understanding their child’s quality of education.”

STMA Superintendent Ann-Marie Foucault said it is very gratifying to see STMA ranked with top school districts in the state like Minnetonka, Edina, Eden Prairie, and Wayzata who have a long tradition of excellence. She added she is extremely proud of students and staff and very thankful for the continued support from parents and the community.
