Local athletes compete at Nationals

The World Taekwondo Academy Team just competed at the 2017 U.S. Nationals in Detroit Michigan in July. The competition is one of the largest sporting events in the world drawing over 3700 competitors from the United States.

The World Taekwondo Academy Team had another successful year winning over 25 medals and one athlete making the USA National Junior Team.

The team was coached by Grandmaster Lee, Master Hoth, Master Shipley, Master Franklin, Master Lemon, Master Jones and Master Matt.
