Sports Rogers Otsego 12A wins state! Published August 9, 2017 at 2:14 am By Contributer The Rogers Otsego 12A baseball team played in another (and last) state tournament and was undefeated and came away as the state champions of this tournament. They played St. Michael in the championship game winning 12-7. They are now at a 48-1-1 record. For the entire season the team had 671 runs scored and only had 163 runs allowed. They won the MBT State Tournament, won the Gopher State Tournament of Champions, won the Woodbury Invitational Tournament, the Bloomington Tournament and the Big Lake Invitational. They came in second Place in the Eagan Open Tournament. They went 18-0 in their league and winning both the regular season and playoff championship. Of the 48 games they won 27 of those games were by 10 runs or more. As a team the boys got .493 for the season.
