North Shore Gymnastics Association will show off its new 8,000-square foot gym expansion project at an open house, 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19.
The event that is open to the public includes a tour of the facility located at 5555 Pioneer Creek Drive, Maple Plain. The non-profit club serves the west metro area.
North Shore is now taking registrations for the eight-week fall session that begins Sept. 5 and runs through Oct. 28. Information: www.northshoregym.org.
The new addition includes more state of the art equipment, larger viewing areas, a larger lobby, additional gymnastics areas to accommodate more kids/classes, a designated Ninja Zone training area and more.
With a bigger gym come more class offerings and programs. Since 1974, NSGA has provided quality gymnastics instruction for children of all ages and abilities.
The club offers pre-school classes for boys and girls ages 16 months through five years and progressive classes for boys and girls ages 5 through 18. North Shore is a “Ninja Zone” member club offering classes in the new sport that combines gymnastics, martial arts and obstacle course training.
North Shore will offer preschool open gym for ages 5 and under from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s.
