St. Michael Royal Court prepares for busy weeks

On Tuesday, Aug. 1, the current St. Michael Royal Court along with the Miss St. Michael and Little Miss St. Michael candidates will be hosting a National Night Out block party at the St. Michael City Hall from 5:30 to 8 p.m..

Join for food, games, temporary tattoos and much more. This is a free event, however they will be accepting donations to help benefit the new royal court on their upcoming year.

On Friday Aug. 11, the royalty will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner at the St. Michael City Hall at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 serving salad, spaghetti and meatballs, breadsticks, cookies, and an assortment of beverages as well as having a raffle. Tickets are $8, seniors (62+) and children 12 and under are $5.

On Saturday Aug. 12, is the big day as the current St. Michael Royal Court will be saying farewell and welcoming the new 2017-18 royalty at coronation. Coronation will be at Middle School West in the auditorium beginning at 3:30 p.m., with doors opening at 3 p.m. Tickets for this event is $5.
