Maple Grove Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city during the week of April 23, 2017 through April 29, 2017. Refer to the city’s website Crime Mapping Section for additional details for the crimes of burglary, robbery, arson, theft and vehicle theft.
Sunday, April 23
300 block of West Eagle Lake Drive — There was a report of damage to property of an outdoor garage light.
10000 block of Yorktown Lane — There was a report of a suspicious package delivered and outdoor garage light unscrewed.
15000 block of Bass Lake Road — There was a report of windows apparently scratched with a rock.
12000 block of Elm Creek Blvd. — There was a report of a merchandise stolen from a store.
Terrenzo Foster, 35, of Maple Grove was cited for fourth degree criminal damage to property and obstructing the legal process on the 10700 block of Pilgrim Lane N.
Monday, April 24
1500 block of Bass Lake Road — There was a report of a purse stolen from a vehicle.
17000 block of 69th Place — There was a complaint of loud music coming from a residence. The homeowner was cooperative while officers on scene.
11000 block of Fountains Drive — There was a report of merchandise stolen from a store.
8000 block of Cottonwood Lane — There was a report of an intoxicated party banging on door of a residence. Officers responded and person was transported to detox for further care.
Tyler Schlotfeldt-Gidney, 21, of Brooklyn Park was cited for possessing and selling a small amount of marijuana.
Shakyra Johnson, 19, of St. Paul was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and warrant arrest at I-94 and Maple Grove Parkway.
Tuesday, April 25
18000 block of 68th Place — There was a report of a set of golf clubs stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
300 block of Second Ave. — There was a report of an iPad stolen, which was recovered.
11000 block of 100th Place — There was a report of a raccoon on the house roof digging a hole. Officers responded and were able to transport the animal safely into the woods.
8000 block of Kirkwood Lane — There was a report of theft of package from the front porch of a home.
Seth Wark, 18, of Dayton was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia on the 300 block of Second Ave. N.W.
Robyn Malinowski, 43, of Hopkins was cited for fourth degree criminal damage to property on the 12400 block of Elm Creek Blvd. N.
Candelerio Estrada, 40, of New Hope was cited for domestic assault on the 13600 block of Grove Drive N.
Iain McCalib, 28, of Maple Grove was cited for third degree DWI driving while impaired-criminal penalty, third degree DUI alcohol concentration over .08 and careless driving at Bass Lake Road and Brockton Lane N.
Wednesday, April 26
9800 block of Hospital Drive — There was a report of a person smoking marijuana. Items confiscated and citation issued.
9000 block of Hemlock Lane — There was a report of a stolen vehicle. It was determined to be a civil matter.
8000 block of Zinnia Way — There was a report of an argument and one party was locked out of house.
13000 block of Grove Drive — There was a report of a possible alarm. No alarm, but a machine beeping due to low battery.
Tal Benzaquen, 41, of St. Louis Park was cited for possessing and receiving stolen property and driving after revocation at 96th Ave. and Maple Grove Parkway N.
Chase Chwialkowski, 32, of Maple Grove was cited for domestic assault and disorderly conduct on the 6400 block of Berkshire Lane N.
Thursday, April 27
10300 block of 93rd Ave. — There was a report of a suspicious vehicle pulling in and out of driveways. It was a newspaper delivery service.
13000 block of 80th Circle — There was a report of a fraudulent purchase of gift cards at a business.
16500 block of 96th Ave. — There was a report of theft suspect at business. A suspect was trespassed from business.
10000 block of 99th Ave. — There was a report of a dispute over personal property.
Friday, April 28
16500 block of 92nd Ave. — There was a report of a burglary where vehicles were entered and items stolen.
18000 block of 98th Place — There was a report of a homeowner smelling smoke of which source could not be determined.
7700 block of Niagara Lane — There was a report of a snapping turtle stuck in yard for several days. The turtle was transported safely back into pond.
6200 block of Magda Drive — There was a report of marijuana smell in building.
Michael Lindner, 32, of Alexandria was cited for fifth degree possession of amphetamine, family offense crime/vulnerable child and child endangerment on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane N.
Tyler Jungers, 30, of Sauk Centre was cited for fourth degree DWI driving while impaired-criminal penalty and possession of a controlled substance on the 13700 block of 83rd Way N.
Saturday, April 29
11000 block of Fountains Drive — There was a report of burglary to a business resulting in property damage. No apparent loss.
6300 block of Wedgewood Road — There was a report of a theft of multiple items from a vehicle.
7000 block of Magda Drive — There was a report of a person who had fallen. The party was transported to the hospital for treatment.
82nd Ave. & Hemlock Lane — There was a report of a person walking in gravel pits. Officer advised party of the dangers and potential for citation.
Maxwell Plumhoff, 19, of Maple Grove was cited for possessing or selling a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jerry Ziaty, 20, of Brooklyn Park was cited for domestic assault and disorderly conduct on the 9300 block of Polaris Lane N.
Lindsey Houle, 27, of Sartell was cited for giving a peace officer a false name, shoplifting and possessing shoplifting gear on the 12400 block of Elm Creek Blvd. N.
Ryan Hoyt, 39, of Maple Grove was cited for disorderly conduct and domestic assault on the 8800 block of Garland Lane N.

During this time period there were 29 property damage traffic accidents and three property damage injury traffic accidents.
