STMA won a pair of games after some shuffling due to bad weather, defeating Cambridge-Isanti 10-0 on Monday and rallying to beat North Branch 5-4 on Friday.
Elle Potts had a grand slam as the Knights rolled over the Blue Jackets 10-0 in five innings.
The Knights scored four runs in the first inning and added four more in the third to double the lead to 8-0. Brooke Burditt gave up just one hit and a walk, striking out five batters in five innings of work.
Katie Bierstedt had two RBI, Maren Hamann had a home run and two RBI, and Lexy Fuerstenberg and Zoee Miller drove in runs to round out the scoring.
The Knights fell behind early but rallied for a dramatic win against North Branch on Friday.
The Vikings scored one run in the first and added runs in the second and third innings to build a 4-0 lead.
STMA’s bats were quiet through the first six innings. Allison Ross and Zoee Miller each doubled in the seventh inning.
Brooke Burditt, Molly Wilde, Katie Bierstedt, and Elle Potts got singles in the inning as the Knights scored five runs to take a 5-4 lead in the top of the seventh, holding on in the bottom of the inning for the win.
Burditt struck out 12 in the victory.
STMA played Princeton on Tuesday. A busy week continues with Monticello on Thursday, St. Francis on Friday and Becker on Saturday.
