Rogers Revue set for May 17

Eight years ago the Rogers Senior Friendship Group came up with an idea to raise funds for its programs.

The Rogers Revue was born as a showcase of area talent to be performed before an audience of friends and people interested in seeing area talent.

It is not a contest but rather just a chance to have fun and exhibit talents of any kind.

Still looking for talent, the show has several acts of instrumental, singing and story telling lined up for this year’s event.

Contact Harold Trombley, 257-2956, or Michael Sahlen, 612-867-4627, if interested in performing. Sahlen is musical director of Word of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers where all the shows have been hosted.

This year’s show is Wednesday, May 17, 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
