Library friends ‘Read Across’ STMA, Hanover

As part of the Read Across America Day event that the Friends of the St. Michael/Albertville/Hanover Library sponsored, members Terri Evans, Mike Havlik, Skip Levesque, and Joyce Nelson joined local librarians, Marla Scherber and Jean Ellington, to visit all nine of the STMA schools as well as Hanover Elementary.

They presented the Library Media Specialist and students with 10 new books of their choosing. They gave away more than 100 books, talked a bit with students about library cards and resources available to them at their public library, and sought input as to how the public library can serve the staff and students of our local schools.
