Robert “Bob” C. Quigley

Robert “Bob” C. Quigley, age 85 of Buffalo, formerly Osseo, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home surrounded with the love of his family, March 3, 2017.
Bob owned and operated his own excavating company for over 30 years. As Bob transitioned to retirement he traded his passion for heavy equipment to collecting antique Case tractors. He enjoyed the hunt of finding tractors at auctions and showing them off at area thrashing shows as well as his annual participation in the Osseo Lions Roar Parade. For over 40 years, Bob was a member of the Osseo Lions Club and a longtime member of the Osseo Legion Post 172. Bob was a Korean War Era Army Veteran. In retirement, Bob enjoyed hours of fishing and mowing his many acres of grass.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Anastasia Quigley; wife, Darlene Quigley; sisters and brother-in-law, Catherine and Walter Goth, and Sr. Marie Clemente.
Survived by wife, Marilyn Quigley; sons, Steven Quigley (Leslie), Charles Quigley, John Quigley (Renee), James Quigley; daughters, Donna Schumm, Michelle Swanson (Scott), Lori Grambart (Mark); step-children, Steve Welter (Alice), Patty Schroder (Joe), Karen Polaschek (Jerry), Anne Rumpza (Mike), Mary Aubol (Bruce), Mike Welter (Janet), Sue Berning (Mark), Therese Jennings (Stephen); 53 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 300 1st Ave. N.W., Buffalo, MN 55313. Visitation two hours prior to funeral all at the church. Interment St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Osseo, MN following luncheon at church. Peterson Chapel, 763-683-1363.
