The Senate District 34 Republican Party announced that Theo Menon and Kristin Robbins were unanimously elected as Chair and Deputy Chair, respectively, to lead organizational and election efforts of the local party for the 2017-2019 biennium.
Menon, a third year student in Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota, lives in Rogers and works in conservative nonprofit management. “My goal as Senate District 34 Republican Chair is to grow our party, expand and build on our grassroots outreach efforts, re-elect our state legislators and assist in electing a Republican Governor, U.S. Senator and other constitutional officers in 2018,” he stated.
Robbins is the Executive Director of the Economic Club of Minnesota, a graduate of Bethel University and lives in Maple Grove. “Our local party has an excellent track record of success, and the 2018 elections provide Republicans in the northwest suburbs with an opportunity to play a key role in candidate selection for governor and U.S. Senate. I’m excited to be on the front lines of that process,” she commented.
In addition to Menon and Robbins, Treasurer Terry Metzgar of Maple Grove was re-elected and will be joined by newly elected Secretary Jessica Craig, also of Maple Grove. The ten vice chairs who will assist with party administration include: Danny Nadeau, Rogers; Kerstin Schulz, Osseo; Richard Siers, Maple Grove; Senell Jaster, Maple Grove; Brad Ganzer, Maple Grove; Robert Yang, Rogers; Kelly Eull, Maple Grove; Greg Sheehan, Maple Grove; Mike Ostaffe, Maple Grove; and Jonathan Fortner, Maple Grove
