New Life Community Church votes in new senior pastor

On Sunday, Jan. 22, Dale DeMell was unanimously voted in as the new Senior Pastor at New Life Community Church in Maple Grove.
New Life Community, NLC, had been without a Senior Pastor since July. During the transition period, Pastor Larry Hale served as the interim pastor. Pastor Hale has served in this role at a number of churches in Minnesota.
In early January, the board of deacons at NLC presented Dale DeMell as the candidate for Senior Pastor at NLC.
The following morning, during the Sunday Morning Service, DeMell preached a message entitled “Everything Has A Price.” The forefront of his sermon was laced with a little humor to engage the audience and the later part included core truths from the Word of God.
After the Sunday Morning Service, there was a Membership Meeting where members of NLC all voted unanimously for DeMell to be the new Senior Pastor at New Life Community Church.
“It is truly humbling when a congregation elects you to lead,” Pastor DeMell said. “My family and I are excited about Maple Grove, our new church community, and our Blessed Hope who is Jesus Christ!”
DeMell will officially begin in the role of Senior Pastor Sunday, Feb. 12.
